Audubon Chapters in Connecticut
.
Audubon Chapters are an important part of the Audubon network, focusing on education and conservation issues in the communities they serve and providing the strong grassroots base that is unique to Audubon among the major national environmental organizations. Although Audubon Chapters are independent organizations, they are chartered by and work closely with the National Audubon Society. Members of the National Audubon Society are automatically assigned to a Chapter if there is one in their area and can participate in the activities of their local chapter, or in another chapter of their choice. Each Chapter offers events and activities that are open to members and the general public.
There are currently 10 active Audubon Chapters in the state. Contact the Audubon Connecticut State Office for information about how to contact the Chapter in your area.
