Audubon Connecticut recently received some seed funding from the Community Foundation for Greater New Haven to create a (pilot) breeding bird atlas for New Haven County, and the data collection is set to begin this spring and summer! Like Connecticut's first breeding bird atlas, this second-generation atlas will consist mostly of data collected by volunteer birders. We are currently developing materials for volunteers to participate. More information and materials to come. To volunteer contact Chris Field.
