Audubon Connecticut will be hosting a series of exciting environmental films focused on the health of waterways, harmful effects of toxins in the environment and environmental stewardship. This program is made possible by support from the Quinnipiac River Fund and in partnership with the Yale Peabody Museum, Wallingford Public Library and Quinnipiac River Watershed Association (QRWA). The following films will be shown:
Green Fire, Aldo Leopold and a Land Ethic for Our Time
Vanishing of the Bees
Living Downstream
The Work of 1,000
Yale Peabody Museum Schedule:
October 26th, Vanishing of the Bees
Film starts at 7:00 pm, doors will open earlier.
November 12th, Green Fire, Aldo Leopold and a Land Ethic for Our Time
Doors open at 1:00. After the screening of the film you will have a chance to ask local environmental leaders questions about their work and address concerns about issues in the Quinnipiac River through a Q&A session.
December 9th, Living Downstream
Film starts at 7:00 pm, doors will open earlier.
The Work of 1,000 will be shown during the Peabody’s annual Earth Day celebration.
